Your 9-5 will be a thing of the past by 2034. No, I'm not saying it. LinkedIn cofounder Reid Hoffman is.

But why does his prediction matter?

- Back in 1997, Hoffman anticipated the rise of social media
- he bet on shared economy (invested early in Airbnb) and
- predicted AI revolution much before ChatGPT emerged

He seems to have a spooky ability to see the future.

And now he says most people will work in the gig economy rather than the traditional 9-5 by 2034.

Specialized skills + global demand = premium rates.

So, your digital footprint will become your most valuable asset.

Forget resumes. Companies will hire based on proven work, not degrees or job titles.

I can attest to it as building my presence on LinkedIn has gotten me numerous work opportunities.

So, no matter how much you hate social media or content creation, having a digital presence is non-negotiable in today's time.

The sooner you accept it the better.
