Are you doing a favor to founders who couldn't succeed by giving them a job ? As if you are giving them a new lease of life ? Abhishek Kejriwal
This straightaway looks demeaning if the role means what I am thinking. Or is it that you consider senior product managers - failed founders.
Whatever it is, if your job role is not clear and appears demeaning you need to replace the person who posted this job and hire someone more sensible for that role first.
There are no failed founders. If 1 or 2 attempts fail, it does not make a founder a failure. Only if he/she gives up his/her dream/goal, then he/she is a failed founder. There are only founders and quitters. If you fail in first attempt you can take up a job to survive but if you keep your dream alive you are NOT a 'Failed Founder'.
You must have read the story of King Bruce and the spider. Most IITians and IAS get through in 2nd or 3rd attempt. Will you call them failure after their first attempt ?
This is not any motivational or 'gyaan' post but there need to be a change in the mindset because mindset is everything.
'Ex-founder' could have been a better way to put it as 'Ex-founder' and 'Failed founder' have completely different connotations altogether.
