“What even is a Founder’s Office role?”

I get this question a lot—even from friends. Some think it’s like being the founder’s PA, some guess it’s HR, and a few even joke, "Do you clean the founder’s office daily?" Haha, good one.

But here’s the thing—this is one of the most exciting and in-demand roles right now.

Why?

Because you get to do everything—sales, marketing, events, hiring, product, growth, fundraising, and more. It’s a crash course in startups, giving you a chance to figure out what you love (and what you don’t).

For freshers, experienced professionals, or those unsure about their next step—this role is like exploring different branches of a tree while helping the whole tree grow.

I made the switch too—from studying at IIIT to starting in sales, and now, diving into the Founder’s Office. And honestly? I’d choose this path again and again. Every day is new—team strategy, content, lead pipelines, networking, making mistakes, and unlocking wins.

So, does this clear things up a bit? 😄

What are your thoughts on the Founder’s Office or Chief of Staff role?
