Here’s the roadmap and notes we share with them to accomplish exactly that:
- - -
(1) Align on clear, tangible objectives over a 12-month timeline.
Notice how I didn’t say 30 days. Or even 3 months.
This whole authority-building thing ain’t a “grab n’ go”.
This means defining measurable goals upfront:
a) Increase inbound deal flow from LinkedIn.
b) Build an audience of ideal customers & strategic partners.
c) Secure podcast invites, speaking gigs, and media coverage.
d) Attract top-tier talent who want to work with us.
Once we have those objectives, we reverse-engineer the execution across:
1/ Content strategy
2/ Commenting strategy
3/ Outreach strategy
Because posting good content alone is not enough.
____
(2) The content strategy:
(Based on what we’ve been seeing Notice Me(dia))
— 5 posts per week (1 every weekday).
— 10 high-value comments daily (on relevant industry posts).
— 20 personalized connection requests daily (to our ICP).
To make this sustainable, I’d run a biweekly content call with the CEO, with the goal of extracting raw, compelling insights through structured storytelling prompts:
A) Personal philosophies on business & leadership.
B) Lessons from scaling the company
C) Contrarian takes on the industry.
D) Behind-the-scenes decisions shaping the roadmap.
This gives the audience a 360° view of:
1/ How the CEO thinks
2/ How the business operates
3/ Where the industry is heading
____
(3) The commenting strategy:
Start by creating a hit list of 20 creators posting daily:
— 10 industry peers (to establish credibility in the space).
— 10 ICP leaders (to piggyback their audience).
The goal here is to “infiltrate” these micro-communities with mini-post-style comments. Value value value.
You will be seen by their connections. Repeatedly.
This directly correlates to more profile views, inbound connections, and eventual conversations.
____
(4) The outreach strategy:
Optimize for conversation, not conversion.
Most people botch LinkedIn outreach by pitching too soon.
Instead, I’d focus on value-first interactions:
1/ Share relevant industry insights.
2/ Reference their content in a meaningful way.
3/ Plant “goodwill seeds” without expecting an immediate return.
The goal here is to make a strong first impression so that when they do need a solution, they already trust YOU.
____
5/ Iterate & refine based on feedback.
Like any good marketing initiative, we’d test and adjust:
Which content formats resonate most?
What topics drive the most engagement?
How do we optimize for better distribution?
After 90 days of experimentation, we’d double down on what’s working.
And keep iterating.
Happy to dive in greater depth in the DMs.
