1️⃣ Speak to 100 people who match your ICP
DM 20-30 people per week and ask for a quick 15-min networking call. Use this:
“Hey [name] – not selling anything.
I’m refining my offer and trying to learn more about [insert thing they do].
Would you be open to a quick networking chat so I can understand the space better? Happy to offer some value in return.”
Keep it chill. Most say yes.
2️⃣ Record the calls + run them through ChatGPT
Take transcripts and drop them into ChatGPT with this prompt:
“Summarise the biggest problems, fears, desires and language this person uses around [your offer topic]. Highlight specific phrases they repeat or focus on.”
You’ll spot trends, patterns and their exact words. This is GOLD.
3️⃣ Rebuild your offer to match
Once you know the REAL pain and how they talk about it...
You can tweak:
- Your offer (so it solves the exact problem)
- Your language (so it's easy for them to understand)
- Your content (so it hits home fast)
- Your DMs (so they actually get replies)
