I asked ‘How many of you have either started or going to start your own podcast?’
Every. Single. Hand. Went. Up.

Mat karo. Please.
It worked for a while when it was fresh and new. Now everyone started doing it 1 year back and theres crazy audience fatigue.
And most of the content is just garbage. I see some VC/founder friends do it out of FOMO and it’s frankly embarrassing.
3 months, 10 episodes, 15 laks in - you’ll likely be at sub 5k followers/subscribers, distracted from your core business and much lower on confidence. You would have wasted time and effort. And feel way shittier about your own self esteem and brand.
And if by chance you get trolled, it’s unlikely you would have built the resilience needed to ignore and move on.
Even barbershop had a good ride and now we have to change it up because frankly bore ho gaye hain log.
So either you have an insanely different idea (please test this, everyone thinks they’re JR) or you are like Nikhil Kamath with insane network, 500 mn PAT and 3 bn net worth :)
If not, focus on your core business and core marketing.
Self-fulfilling cheezein baad mei karna.
