Unpopular opinion and not clickbait: Drinking lots of water has ZERO impact on Skin health!

Recently saw another wave of videos and influencers exhorting people to measure, time and drink water with Smart bottles;. For skin health.

There is ZERO scientific evidence that drinking lots of water (and peeing constantly!) improves skin health.
Unless one is regularly suffering from dehydration; in which case, skin health is just one of the many issues it will cause.

If your body needs water, it will tell you. You begin to feel Thirsty when the Sodium concentration levels in your blood increases due to reduced water or increased salt. (you hence feel thirsty after salty food).

Infact, the mechanism is so sensitive that just a 1% change in Sodium concentration triggers Thirst.
So, Listen to your body , instead of dumping 4 Litres and buying bottles with timers.
The only time you force drink is when you wake up; after having been off water for 6-8 Hours.

Fun fact: It takes 40-50 Minutes for the body to rehydrate after you drink water. Yet you feel quenched within seconds of drinking water. Why?
