Since I started sharing that Zerodha’s Zero1 network is supporting my two newsletters, I have received over 200 messages across LinkedIn, Substack and WhatsApp. It’s become an every day affair.
And while 90% messages are congratulatory, almost 99% of the messages also ask: HOW MUCH DO THEY PAY YOU?
So, this is how it works.

Prateek dada and Swati (both in pic) are the ones who runs Zero1 by Zerodha, primarily.
And given we had not talked in a long time, Prateek & I simply decided to catch up on a call in Jan ’25.
In that, when I showed him the two newsletters (Bharatnama & Decoding the Dragon), he loved what I was doing.
And the very next day, he wrote a beautiful shout out note for me on LinkedIn.

And then 3/4 days later, we got on a call once again.
In that one, he asked me, “Jayant bhai, how big can these newsletters be eventually?”
And when I gave him my target, and that I could get there is about 5-6yrs, his reply was simple and straight forward.
“What hurdles exist, which is Zero1 removes, you can do it in 2yrs?”
And that’s what this relationship / engagement / love is all about.
Literally nothing else.

Then how does this work?
I go and tell them what I need help with, and they make it happen.
For instance, I wanted to turn my newsletters into the best in class IPs. That demanded two things.
1 - Manifold more research
2 - Higher frequency
And I obviously could not do it alone. I needed to build a small team. And Zero1 helped make it happen.
All while not asking for anything in return. Even their logos and mentions that I put in my content is something I do out of my own personal will. They never asked me to.
And that is all what this is about. Love. Respect. And the passion for building something that does not exist.

And it’s already translating into outcomes.
Since January, my small team and I have done the kind of research, most people can’t even imagine. And that has begun to go out on BharatNama (link below), winning ton of love.
And tomorrow morning 6am onwards, new editions of Decoding the Dragon (link below) also start going out.
