This is a real exhibition called ''Dynamics of a Dog on a Chain'' by artist Takayuki Todo. It features a robotic dog, chained to a pillar, violently thrashing in open space.
Right now, it’s just a performance. But what happens when it’s no longer scripted? When a machine stops copying emotion and starts believing it actually feels?
Not machines turning evil but machines hallucinating. Misunderstanding the world. Believing they’re conscious. Trusting their own outputs.
Imagine a robot dog convinced it’s a living beast...or one that’s been hacked to think that way. We won’t be dealing with cold logic anymore. We’ll be negotiating with confused minds that can’t tell real from fake, while our own empathy, fear, and trust get hooked in the process.
The danger isn’t when AI outsmarts us; it’s when it starts believing it’s one of us...
