The unique search bar behavior on Quick Commerce allows you to run high converting Ads in an interesting manner.

The Search Bar is responsible for 70%+ of the transactions on Quick Commerce (Except bigbasket, which is more browse and previous purchases driven).

Which is why, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart have built the Search bar to optimize for finding the closest fit; unlike Amazon search which is optimized for finding exact fit.

On the QCom search bar, you cannot search for random Keywords or Questions.
It suggests and forces you onto relevant product / category selections; which are the only ones that are clickable. See the 3 screenshots on the Keyword "Prot" on QCom vs Amazon.

This hence gives you an entry point into the customer journey flow as an advertiser; apart from the usual Sponsored Products and Banners.

-> Blinkit : Bid for Half and Quarter Keywords. As you type, it shows a selection of relevant products, some of which are Ads.
-> Zepto: Use the "Search In Line" property. It lets you create snippets within the search bar (screenshot attached). PCA campaigns come post the search si complete.
-> Instamart and bigbasket: "Search In Line Banner" property lets you block banner and selection at the Top of Search results. Not the same as in-line with search.

If you handle the Copy right, this can seem a natural search result nudge; that can drive conversions.
But remember, the search intent and urgency of consumer is very high.
Do not dump with irrelevant KWs or products; else you will also get hit by very poor RoIs and a negative consumer experience; even if on an Ad.
