Over the past 12 months, AI has become my go-to sounding board — across both professional and personal decisions.
One game-changing trick: I ask AI to think like someone I deeply admire.
Charlie Munger has had the deepest influence on how I think — about investing, judgment, and life. I regret never making it to a Berkshire AGM while he was alive. But now, I can ask AI to coach me like Charlie. I’ve done the same with Steve Jobs, Bill Campbell, and others.
What’s amazing is how instantly AI channels their mental models.
For example, when evaluating our investment in KILRR Spices, I asked AI to apply Munger-style inversion:
"What would guarantee this becomes a failed investment?"
In seconds, I had a clear inversion canvas outlining key failure modes — something that would’ve taken me hours to arrive at.
