Super pumped to share that Mohit Sadaani, Founder of The Moms Co, has joined DeVC (officially) as MD πŸŽ‰

On 6th October 2021, Good Glamm Group acquired Mohit's company for ~β‚Ή500 crore -- India's largest D2C exit. Mohit was ready to ride out into the sunset with his wife & co-founder Malika Datt Sadani

Most founders hang up their boots after a success of such magnitude, few decide to start up again, fewer decide to "give back" by spending time as an investor.

βœ…He has the rare ability to sit a founder down -- cut all through all the BS, have the most difficult conversations (burn, shut down, pivot, bad hires etc) in the most candid manner possible. I've seen him do this effortlessly multiple times in a day.

Given his extensive work experience at McKinsey, he's also able to bring incredible structure & clarity to discussions around our internal Ops, prioritization & firm build out. He's been the "steady hand" for us :)

Mohit began his investing journey after his exit & partnered with DeVC on ~10 investments. After spending some time with us earlier this year, he decided to come on board full time to mentor the next generation of founders.

Aakash, Divyanshi, the DeVC Collective & I are fortunate to have him join us in building out the firm over the next (few) decade(s).

It is a privilege to work with him; I personally look forward to each conversation, call or discussion where he is involved πŸ™
