Shipped out an ultra basic meal planner using Cursor last weekend - from not knowing jargons of coding/APIs/LLMs to actually using these was exhilarating.

You see - throughout the journey of The State Plate, I have felt tech-handicapped a lot of times, even for the minutest things like connecting a couple apps via APIs or writing a basic html code to change the colour of a button.

I knew something had to be done. That's when I came across Shraddha
's post about a workshop helping non-tech people ship their first webapp. I immediately signed up! (even though it clashed with my cricket game, people who know me know how serious I am about my cricket games xD).

I don't think there's any better place to just get started (i have tried youtube too). They took 10 of us through the entire journey step-by-step - from downloading cursor to troubleshooting bugs to deploying it publicly. ๐Ÿ’ป

The inertia of tech is gone - I am just so much more confident. Exactly how a kid feels after building their first LEGO set.

Will try to ship more stuff in the coming times and learn how to become better at it. Just expands the realm of opportunities you can go after. ๐Ÿ’ช

Here's what I made within those 3 hours (basic but mine haha) Thanks Shraddha
& Ashish - this was fun
