I never expected to share something like this, but it’s important for everyone—especially women—to be aware.
Recently, I had an alarming experience while using the Namma Yatri app. After canceling a ride, the driver showed up at my location, threatened me, and even recorded a video of me, saying it would be shared on social media as a form of intimidation.
This is not only completely unprofessional, but it’s also a gross violation of personal safety and privacy. No one should have to feel threatened or harassed for simply canceling a ride.
🛑 We use these apps with the expectation of safety and respect—not fear and harassment.
I’m sharing this to raise awareness and ensure accountability. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please come forward. We must not stay silent.
