Can you create demand with SEO? 🤔
I don’t view it as a primary demand gen channel.
It is however, an amazing demand capture channel.
For me, social is the best play to create demand.
However, that’s not to say SEO can’t create demand.
It’s just more difficult.
If someone is solution (and problem) unaware - they’re not going to be searching for your product.
However, you can still reach them by lightly introducing your product in related content.
For example:
You sell accounting software for construction companies 🚧.
You could reach your ICP, by mentioning your product in a blog post for construction pricing software or... construction project management.
(Now, you've planted a seed)
