Despite Indiaโ€™s rich musical heritage, the countryโ€™s musical instrument market remains largely unorganized - dominated by traditional, family-run businesses. Artists form deep emotional bonds with their instruments and are often reluctant to switch brands. The distribution system is fragmented, premium products are mostly imported at 5-6x the cost, and high-quality options for beginners or hobbyists are hard to find.

The Indian musical instrument market is currently valued at USD 1.13 billion (2023) and is projected to grow to USD 1.95 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 8%. Interestingly, COVID had a positive impact - as people turned to music for therapy and entertainment.

At 19, Anirban Bhattacharya (Founder)-from a music-loving family- spotted a Cajรณn at his teacherโ€™s place and asked his father, Dulal Bhattacharya, a veteran in the industry, โ€œ๐‚๐š๐ง ๐ฐ๐ž ๐ฆ๐š๐ค๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ? Together, they handcrafted their first Cajรณn - and sold it. The spark was lit.

As demand grew, Anirban met Pallab Ghosh ( Co-founder) - a strategic thinker with a business background. The vibe clicked. Pallab joined as co-founder, bringing structure, diversify to other percussion instruments, digital expansion, and new market access.
