Proving ourselves right.
But most people use this ability against themselves.
They reinforce doubts, fears, and limitations.
“I’m not good enough.”
“This won’t work.”
“I always mess things up.”
Say it enough times, and your brain will gladly back you up.
Show you enough proof to convince you that you are not good enough.
But the same mechanism can work for you!
If you learn to direct your focus, reframe your questions, and shift your self-talk, your brain becomes your ally.
- Ask: What would this look like if it were easy?
- Replace “I can’t” with “How can I?”
- Focus on effort over outcome - What did I learn? What can I try next?
The mind is powerful and programmable.
Use it wisely.
