"Over the years, Search has evolved and improved. Yet our approach remains the same."
Which led me to think, after all of our research, that at the end of the day - the way we rank on AI Engines isn't that different from 'traditional engines' like Google.
I can't imagine the developers at ChatGPT or Google saying - "we should prioritize unhelpful content from sources that aren't credible"
If an AI Engine can trust your brand, they will cite you.
1. Make it easy to crawl your site and understand what you do
2. Build content they want to use with unique insights
3. Build credibility online (basically other people saying you can do what you claim you can do)
Nothing fundamental has changed. Nuances, yes. Smaller items that were lower priority are now higher priority.
But the core remains (in my opinion - this could change).
