Nvidia’s stock has skyrocketed 3,776% since 2019, creating an unprecedented wave of wealth among its employees:
▪️ 78% are now millionaires.
▪️ 1 in 2 is worth over $25 million.
But behind the massive payouts lies a relentless work culture:
▪️ Employees report 7-day workweeks and 2 a.m. shifts.
▪️ Intense meetings and micromanagement dominate their schedules.
These “golden handcuffs” keep many from leaving, tied to lucrative stock grants that vest over four years.
The challenge now? Motivating “semi-retired” employees, whose wealth has dampened engagement.

Despite it all, Nvidia boasts a turnover rate of just 2.7% (vs. the industry average of 17.7%) and ranks No. 2 on Glassdoor’s “Best Places to Work” in 2024.
