Not a lot of people know about Neil Mehta, one of the best founder-mode investors in the world. What I admire is his ability to take concentrated bets and go all-in. And he bootstrapped his fund by taking his winnings from his time at DE Shaw. And continues to do so even now. A great profile of him here, completely worth checking out:
