No, I’m not just being a contrarian because everyone else seems to love it.
And No. I do like my odd ball sense of humour, have made ads with Brown bears wielding swords, porn stars fighting gamers, pens being stuck in people's noses, fish doing synchronized swimming and the list goes on...(in case you were thinking such a boring millennial 😅)
Its trying too hard to be funny. Sure the production is slick, the casting is fantastic but its like a khichdi of everything! And the product feels bandaged, barely holding on.
Its like the creatives had a great laugh coming up with it, the director had a great time writing the treatment, and then they went on wait...we have to add the product somewhere.
But, If the point was to create a viral hit that people talk about and then immediately forget what was being advertised... mission accomplished.
