This is a something our team at DeVC has experienced first hand last week.
✅We did kick started our 1st quarterly Mumbai “Social” event. In Delhi, we had 100% attendance the week prior - Mumbai also had close to 100% attendance!
Attendees included:
(1) Aakrit from Haptik, Arjun Vaidya from Verlinvest, Dhyanesh from Mosaic Wellness, Sanket from Invideo & Mohit from The Mom’s Co - all four of whom are DeVC Collective members (i.e. they invest in startups alongside us & actively mentor them in their product to business transition journey).
(2) Our portfolio companies, who were present in full force: Saleschat.pro , InspeCity , Ziffi Chess , EMoMee , Solar Ladder along with portfolio companies of peercheque and Marsshot
(3) Members of the Mumbai startup ecosystem (co-investors, Angels, founders etc) such as Ranjeet Walunj from Cleartrip, Sohit Kapoor from Driefcase, Mredul from Riceberg VC & many others
The Mumbai startup ecosystem is especially exciting given the mix of FinTech & Consumer Brand co’s which are being built out of the city. We’re especially bullish on Consumer Brands being built from the city (for the world!)
