I separately caught up with Andrew. He shared his three stages of a community business:

- Identity-based, vibe-based gatherings
- Once sufficient in size, facilitating introductions and deal flows
- With sufficient deal flow, participating in investments (think a16z with a media arm)

He’s now making 20 active investments per year, recently including Superhuman and Sports Visio.
