That’s probably what a lot of people told her…
But she chose the road less taken.
This is update 3 on the EiR role at GZ
And this time, it’s not just an update, it’s an announcement.
We’ve officially selected our Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Go Zero
She left her MBA admission at IIM to join us.
No, this isn’t a movie.
This is real.
This is what it means to choose the life less ordinary.
When we started this process, I had no idea it would turn into something so big.
We received 4,800 applications.
Yes, four thousand eight hundred.
From MBA students and ex-founders to folks working in consulting and VC firms, the interest blew us away.
Out of those, we personally shortlisted 276.
Then we narrowed it down to the top 5, who also had to go through an investor interview round before the final round with me.
Why did it take time?
Because we weren’t just looking for a good CV.
We were looking for "Mini Kiran" 😎
We were looking for someone who could own a brand like it’s their own.
We were looking for a future founder who wanted to learn by building, not by just watching from the sidelines.
And she stood out.
Not just because she rejected IIM.
But because she had clarity, drive, and the hunger to be in the trenches.
To everyone asking, “Who got selected?”
You’ll meet her soon, we’ll be sharing her story here in the coming weeks.
And trust me, it’s one you’ll want to follow.
To the 4,799 others who didn’t make it, this is just the beginning.
Sometimes, not getting selected is life nudging you to start your own thing.
And if you do, tag me.
and I promise, I’ll be rooting for you.
