This is an absolute certainty for me: all companies will be equipped with an AI Knowledge Navigator like AskX in the next five years.
It's the same conviction I rightfully had with Slite 7 years ago, and for similar reason: we need to make team knowledge ubiquitous, this is the next frontier on this path.
If you haven't heard of it, AskX is our new product at Slite, designed to find any answer and information in the sea of data your team produces, from all their tools. And it's usable with or without Slite Knowledge base product.
We started it 7 months ago and in this short timeframe, we've built something exceptional. From current pilots, I heard "this is the best RAG I've seen" and "I've tried all the AI search tools out there, this is the only one actually working" 🙌

So here what's next!
→ New smart suggestions to refine/redirect your search
→ More data sources, (GitHub, Asana, and private Slack channels are next)
→ New type of sources: CRM data from Attio, Salesforce, meeting recordings from (Grain, tldv, etc.) and SQL data from your data warehouse
→ The above ☝️ to handle more types of questions, "what are the running hot deals mentioning X", "what's the #1 feature request from these 10 user research interviews" etc.
→ And beyond "questions", the ability to generate a digest/report ("what has my team been up to?")
