Mark Cuban made a big AI prediction that aligns with my own:

"Within the next 3 years, there will be so much AI, in particular AI video, people won’t know if what they see or hear is real. Which will lead to an explosion of f2f engagement, events and jobs.

Those that were in the office will be in the field.

Call it the Milli Vanilli effect”

I've long felt this. Web 2.0 had paradoxical effects of connectivity with greater loneliness and burnout.

If AI replaces a lot of the tedious information work, we'll be freed from the chains of our phones and laptops to go back into the world.

The paradox of AI is that it can have a humanising effect.

I, for one, would rather spend time discussing company strategy on a coastal hike than requesting client social media passwords.

Milli Vanilli effect is in reference to a fake late 80s band who faked their performances.
