Manas Madhu, a former Capgemini consultant, founded Beyond Snack in 2020 after quitting his corporate job to focus on making banana chips, a staple in Kerala.

Based in Alappuzha, the startup aims to standardize production for consistent taste and texture, offering six flavors including coconut oil-based options.

Their Tumkur facility is 95% automated, producing 6.6 metric tonnes monthly with a goal of 600 MT by 2027. They source Grade-1 bananas from 220 farmer groups in South India and use refined coconut oil for quality.

In FY24, Beyond Snack reached Rs 34 crore in revenue and has raised $5.98 million, targeting $100 crore in revenue. ๐Ÿ“ˆ The company employs 220 people and aims to become 100% women-run by 2026.
