Launching a never-before-known model where the government does not need to keep burning tens of thousands of crores of hard-earned taxpayers' money in solving the massive waste problem, but a truly sustainable solution on its own.

Together with our esteemed partner in Calcutta and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, we launched a 100 tons per day automated material recovery and recycling facility that sorts municipal waste into various fractions for recovery and creates value from materials that even waste pickers don't collect, as they have zero value. Until now, most of these materials have ended up in landfills.

Now comes the bigger plus: the plastics thus recovered from the automated material recovery facility are mostly non-recyclable and, in the best-case scenario, found their way to cement plants for co-processing. This is now being converted into Boards and lumber using our patent-granted technology, which is extensively used in pre- and post-construction.

All of this on a site at the landfill, where dumping was the earlier norm.

The facility was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister-in-charge of Municipal Administration and Mayor of Calcutta, Shri Firhad Hakim.

A few years ago, I would have still wondered if our dream of resolving India's waste problem was possible. With such launches across the country and more, it could be a possibility in the near future. Of course, there are myriads of things beyond our control that are massive, but we continue to grind our way with your love and support.
