Last week, Marc Lou vibe-coded a Beehiiv alternative and cut his newsletter bill from $4,000 a year to under $300. Resend is next on his list.

I couldnt stop thinking about this over the weekend. So I decided to build something.

For twenty years, SaaS worked one way: build one product and sell the same thing to hundreds of thousands of customers. Everyone got the same features, the same UI and the same pricing page.

Thats starting to change. With AI, more people can build software that fits exactly how they work. I think we are seeing the dawn of the era of personal software.

I co-founded Moosend. For ten years, I built exactly the kind of platform people are now walking away from.

Product teams are using Amazon SES and Sendgrid to send emails. The problem with these tools is they come with no frills (no campaigns, no fancy dashboards or recipient tracking, location or email client analytics etc)

So I'm building the frills. It's called MX Zero.

MX Zero connects to SES, SendGrid or Postmark. It figures out what you're sending, then shows you the reporting you used to get from your email platform: opens, clicks and delivery for every campaign, by country, email client and day, down to each recipient.

Literally 30 seconds to your first dashboard.

So you can build your very own email marketing tool on top of SES and still get your fancy analytics back.

I'm gauging demand and will be onboarding in small batches. Comment or DM me if you're interested and I'll move you up the waitlist. The link is in the first comment.
