My team stated, very clearly, the product is becoming the bottleneck and it isn't scalable infinitely.
This rubbed them the wrong way. Letting their emotions fire up and shooting 'accusations'
They took their account back in house to bring it back to 'Peak Health' . They forgot to remove me from their BM funny enough:)
It has been 5 months and I still see a ROAS of 2.4x in April.
Though a rarity, even we face these 'situations'
'Marketing kharab kar rhe hai' is the easiest problem & laziest to detect & put all your fingers towards. But fellow founders, it seldom is the ONLY problem.
Your product dictates the size of the market & demand
Your product dictates use purchase behaviour
Your product dictates competition in the category
Your product dictates market acceptance
Your product dictates the return customer rate
Your product dictates a positive OR negative experience customers have
Marketing CANNOT be the only factor in such a scenario. However, it tends to be, the easiest to blame....because blaming other factors is a bit...uncomfortable.
Be smart.
