Don't get me wrong - I really root for India to succeed in Gen AI.
But Krutrim cannot be India's answer to OpenAI or Deepseek.
All this marketing fluff about India's own AI - but their chatbots can't even hold a simple conversation in Hindi. It randomly shifts between languages without any context.
The platform itself is super buggy, and it is barely usable.
For a $1 billion valuation, I expect to see some class.
