Is this how Blinkit makes profit?

I recently ordered two avocados from Blinkit priced at ₹145. Along with that, I paid:
✔ ₹30 as a surge charge
✔ ₹12 for delivery
✔ ₹9 as a handling fee

When my order arrived, I received only one avocado instead of two. I reached out to customer support, expecting a refund for the missing item. Their response? A refund of ₹74— half of ₹145 (as I have received one piece). After 26 mins of struggle with support team they refunded 145₹ (full refund for avocado).

This raises a question. If a customer pays for two items but receives only one and is refunded just half the price or gets the full refund for the item, what about the extra charges? How often does this happen, and how much does Blinkit profit from such “instances”?

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Would love to hear your thoughts.
