Iraq war started in 2003, and led to confirmed deaths of over 1 Million people. The entire "project" cost over $3 Trillion, and that's not counting the opportunity cost of the fallen country (which would also be in Trillions, easily).

That particular war ruined not just Iraq (which was a thriving country), but also the Middle East, perhaps irreparably. Such were the cascading effects of that conflict, that even 23 years later, there are still over 2,500 US troops in Iraq. Trying to control the mess of their own making.

Over 1 Million people died. The ones who survived had their lives destroyed. Never to get them back again..

The war in Libya started in 2011. It led to confirmed deaths of over 100,000 people. While this particular "project" cost much less to US and its allies who propped up the conflict, it led to total economic fallout which ran into Trillions, if you do the math correctly.

This particular conflict proved to be so viciously sad that Libya (quite a thriving country in its day) was absolutely, and irreparably ruined. The effects of Libyan fall didn't just hurt Africa; they also screwed up the entire Middle East, while also taking down Europe with it. In one of his great interviews, Mr. Julian Assange called Libya the "Cork of Africa". As soon as the cork was gone, the migrant crisis had a full blown spillover, the effects of which have screwed Europe in ways nobody can even imagine.

By the way, TODAY, in 2025 - Libya is an active ground for slave trade. People there actively buy slaves for real. That's how bad it turned out to be.

Something similar happened in Afghanistan, where about $3 Trillion were splurged on a 20 year war, with scores of people left dead without burial, and survivors without any hope. And then Taliban took over everything.

Compared to the above examples, Mr. Donald Trump ended the Israel-Iran conflict in 12 days. The US attacks aimed at de-nuclearisation of Iran DID NOT KILL ANYONE, but stil got the job done. Then an immediate ceasefire was announced, and both parties agreed to it.

Normally, anyone in this situation would praise Mr. Trump for atleast 12 days straight. After all, being able to pull off such a Captain Kirk in that Kobayashi Maru is, for the lack of a better word, unbelievable. Who would have thought that this was even possible? This is extraordinary! And good for everybody.

But instead of praise, what I am seeing are posts about how people feel that they don't like how Trump "behaves". That he doesn't have the "decorum" of Bush & Obama. That he lacks "refinement" that is expected from the POTUS.

What?

So what you're saying is that you'd prefer someone who'd spend Trillions to kill Millions of people absolutely mercilessly, only to leave their home in an infinitely worse state, all while gaining absolutely nothing.. because of their "decorum"?

Well, "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe", said Sir Albert Einstein. He was right.
