India's public toilet facilities are the worst in the world! It is worse than Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal, and way behind Sri Lanka. We're marginally better than Afghanistan.

India has less than 3 toilets per 10,000 people and is worse in congested metropolitan areas. Many of these are the mandatory toilets at petrol pumps, but many petrol-pump owners insist that access to these washrooms is limited to customers refueling their vehicles there.

So, what will your average Swiggy/Zomato/Zepto deliver-partner do when nature calls?

What will your cab driver do if they're on the road and they want to use the loo?

And we blame these partners and agents for their habits of public urination. We call this a dehaati habit. Arre bhai, what do you expect them to do: hold it in for 10 hours?
