In real life and in my YC application, I’m struggling to find a good Indian co-founder. I’ve talked to dozens of Indian tech leaders, and most of them say things like:

“Hey Adi, great idea and solid initial steps but my current CTC is 50 LPA. Let me know if you can match that.”

Or “It’s a risky startup. I need a salary, not equity. I can be your CTO, but not a co-founder.”

I don’t understand if people are only interested in jobs, why do they apply for founding roles at startups?

Anyway, I’m actively looking for founding team members or a tech co-founder. (I’m technical too.)

I’m building Veena AI: Redefining the search & browser experience.

Whenever I ask people to join my startup to help build the browser of the future, I often hear:

“Google might launch something big.”
“Perplexity’s Comet is around the corner.”
“Why build another agentic browser?”

Here’s why:

AI agents are promising and exciting but they’re not the whole future. Their true value lies in removing manual, repetitive, and time-consuming tasks from our digital lives. Agentic or dynamic search should be one part of the experience not the entire experience. It shouldn’t just be about queries. It should also help users understand, interact with, and take action on pages, blocks & more

To support that shift, we need to rethink and rebuild how search & browser will work for user & for companies: yeah you heard it right!

Not just layer AI on top of the web but rebuild the browser at its core.

& 3 Main new features again not Agentic, Conversational these are primary but whole

By the way, I’m not great at storytelling.
Right now, I’m solo. I’ve built two successful projects before.

I’m thinking of applying to this YC cohort, but doing it alone feels hard.

I don’t have any friends who are into startups, so I’m hoping to find a great team through this.
