If I had a dollar for every time I heard “India is protein deficient”, we wouldn’t need another funding round.
Yes, India is protein-deficient —
But not because we don’t want protein.
It’s because we simply can’t afford more.

🇮🇳 Indians consume just about as much protein as our per capita income allows.
Not more. Not less. Just as much as we can afford.

The top urban decile consumes 2x more protein than the bottom decile
In rural India, that gap widens to 3x

At ₹4–₹6 per gram, whey protein and bars are built for the top 10%, not the masses.

If we want to shortcut our way to protein sufficiency before income levels rise, we have to make protein radically affordable.
🎯 Think ₹30 for 20g of protein.
That’s the unlock. That’s the real game changer.
