I turned a ₹100 message into a ₹5 crore business.

Nope, I didn’t invest in Bitcoin.
Didn’t touch stocks either.

I just… asked.

Back in 2020, I was fresh out of a video editing course.

No job. No industry connects. Just a confused family wondering why I wasn’t doing something “normal.”

One day, I was watching a livestream by a YouTuber I loved, Jaby Koay, who had over a million subscribers.

And I remember thinking: “His editing could be so much better. Maybe I could help?”

But I had no idea how to get in touch… until I saw the ₹100 Super Chat feature, where your message gets pinned.

That was it. My shot.

I paid ₹100 for a Super Chat and typed: “Hey Jaby and Achara! I’m a video editor. If you ever need one, I’d love to help. [IG handle].”

That’s it.

They read it live, checked out my profile. I didn’t expect anything. But a few days later, I got a DM.

Then a trial project.
Then a long-term client.
Then referrals.

And that one message snowballed into a 75+ people agency with 8-figure revenue.

Not because I was the best editor, but because I asked when I had nothing to lose.

That’s the thing most people miss: They reject themselves before the world ever gets the chance to say yes.

They think: “Why would someone say yes to me?”
So they don’t even try.

But the truth is, you don’t get what you deserve, you get what you ask for.

The worst someone can say is no, but if you don’t ask, you're guaranteed a no. Why not give yourself the chance?
