The AI tools I’m using:
Claude
ChatGPT
Gemini
Deepseek
Here is everything I rated them on:
Hook power:
→ ChatGPT : 2/10
→ Gemini : 3.5/10
→ DeepSeek : 3/10
→ Claude : 6/10
Storytelling:
1) ChatGPT: Cricket reference feels random in an otherwise structured narrative.
2) Gemini: Age-based chronology creates authentic progression that resonates.
3) DeepSeek: Failure-to-discovery arc feels genuinely lived rather than crafted.
4) Claude: Creates a clear journey from misconception to insight
Voice authenticity:
1) ChatGPT: Casual language and emojis read as trying too hard to sound relatable.
2) Gemini: Consistent tone with admissions of failure creates believable voice.
3) DeepSeek: Raw vulnerability and simple statements achieve the most human sound.
4) Claude: Uses conversational phrases like "not hiding under a rock" but maintains a polished tone that could benefit from more raw vulnerability.
Content structure:
1) ChatGPT: Visually organized with emoji bullets but formulaically predictable.
2) Gemini: Clean format with intuitive flow makes complex ideas digestible.
3) DeepSeek: Minimalist structure lets the message shine without distraction.
4) Claude: Well-organized with numbered points and short paragraphs for scanability, though the format follows a predictable pattern that feels somewhat templated.
The tool that will give you the best result overall: Claude.
The scary part? 6 months ago, most of these outputs would have been unusable. Now they're good enough to fool most people.
As someone running a personal branding agency with 30 team members, this keeps me up at night. The gap between AI and human writing is closing faster than anyone expected.
We're either adapting to this new reality or becoming irrelevant. There's no middle ground.
Which tool do you like the most?
