Meaning the search results both with and without AI will fluctuate wildly in the coming period as Google adjusts.
I do not see Google turning off AI in search completely, since this would be seen as an admission of the failure.
Instead I predict AI will be set to a minimum in the coming period for the most problematic and perhaps also most popular searches - while Google tries to work out the kinks.
