here's someone i would say should NOT have a podcast
- is time poor
- has zero existing social capital
- does not have a compelling life story
- does not understand their unfair advantage
- does not have a clear understanding of their ICP
- cannot talk endlessly on the topic of their podcast
- cannot afford to invest in a podcast for more than 3 months
- does not know the ins and outs of their industry at the back of their hand
- does not have ≥5 contacts that can be a guest and provide value to their ICP
my consulting days at ZS taught me this
part of being a good problem solving part is not just recommending thing to do, but also what NOT to do
its not altruistic, pure economics😅
if i know you won't succeed with a podcast, why would i recommend something that leads to a loss in reputation + LTV?
p.s. i’m documenting my time growing my podcast + podcasting agency. i share daily insights on podcasting, content and the biz of content. follow me to never miss out, and DM me for priority content support :)
