Every time I drop a new video at Ditto Insurance
A WhatsApp message follows soon after.

“Shonu, we’re watching your new video.”
Then a screenshot. Or a snippet.

My dad?
He’s got his daily list of chores from mom.

Phone in pocket. Video playing. Doesn’t hit 2x. Doesn’t skip to premiums.
Just… listens.

Even if he doesn’t understand what a moratorium period is.

Now, here’s the thing.
I know from YouTube analytics
how people watch insurance videos

Skip the intro.
Jump to premiums.
Close before the CTA.

But my parents?
They’ve been the only two who watch start to finish.

Every single time. For an entire year.

Not because they’re looking for a new plan.
They already have one.

But because they care.

Because they’re my loudest cheerleaders.

Because they still see that same kid who once scored 70% in 10th Math,
Dropped out of engineering,
Experimented with casinos,

And is now explaining insurance
to strangers on the internet.

They show up. Always have.

And honestly, sometimes,
that’s the only algorithm I care about.
