But this one hit different.
A founder from Elevator Pitch Season 2 sent me this after the pitch.
“Mujhe lagta hai I learned more in those 3 hours than I usually do in a month...
it was close to a Thiel Fellowship experience for me.”
I had to pause.
Because when I started Elevator Pitch, it wasn’t some high-production startup show.
There was no agenda. No VC signaling. No PR team.
Just one belief:
Founders deserve a space to tell their story without a warm intro, without a 50-slide deck, without bullshit.
All of this hurts:
1. Getting passed on. Ghosted. Told you’re too early.
2. You “don’t have a moat.”
3. You need to “hire someone senior.”
It messes with your head.
That’s why this exists.
Not for virality.
But for that one builder who finally feels seen.
Season 2 has already had some insane moments.
Founders who showed up raw, vulnerable, and brave.
Some nailed it. Some stumbled. Every single one walked away clearer.
That’s the real win.
To every founder who’s applied, pitched, or just DM’d me with their story.
Thank you.
We see you.
And we’re going all in.
P.S - Super excited, the first episode of Elevator Pitch Season 2 drops tomorrow!
