After testing it out, I’m genuinely underwhelmed.
Considering all the rich data HubSpot captures, like emails, calls, notes, deal stages, activity timelines, etc., this integration could have been a strategic powerhouse, adept at connecting dots, spotting patterns, and flagging potential risks. Instead, we’ve ended up with what feels like an intern simply reading reports aloud.
Here’s the fundamental problem: this AI isn’t trying to be intelligent:
It lacks memory and genuine comprehension of interactions.
It doesn’t index HubSpot data effectively or utilise vector databases or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques. Essentially, your data isn’t contextualised, it’s just repeated back to you.
There are no actionable insights about emerging trends or potential deal risks.
In short, it’s not providing the assistant-level behaviour we need, it’s merely another dashboard reader.
What we truly need is an AI capable of synthesising our calls, emails, and notes, indexing them intelligently, and offering real insights to help us act decisively and swiftly.
We don’t just need another tool to display data; we need an AI partner that deeply understands our prospects and customers.
