How often do you make people around you realise that you are indeed a human?

Not the resume version.
Not the LinkedIn headline.
Not the productivity hero.
Just… human.

The one who forgets where they kept their keys.
The one who sometimes wants to cry on a random Tuesday afternoon.
The one who sends the wrong email and then triple-checks the next one.
The one who shows up, even when it’s hard, especially when it’s hard.

In our professional lives, we often perform our roles so well that people forget there is a person behind the performance. Worse still, we forget we deal with humans too.

We armour up with designations, responsibilities, and the polite “I’m fine”s.
We put ourselves last on the to-do list. We deliver results but quietly carry exhaustion.
And we call it being “strong”.

In trying so hard to look “tough” we end up hiding the parts that make us human - vulnerable, funny, honest and weird.
But those are also the parts that people remember.
Those are the moments that make leadership feel real and relationships feel safe.

So, are you comfortable to let your guard down?
Not for attention, but for connection.

Be vulnerable.
It’s not a weakness.
It’s human.
It’s relatable.
It’s real.
Being human isn’t a flaw. It’s your edge.
