Here's how Neil Patel and I are adapting our marketing in 2025:

1. I'm using HeyGen, Eleven Labs, and Opus to create more AI-generated content. We're looking to ramp this up later this month to ultimately collect more e-mails.

2. An oldie, but goodie, is taking core features from our products and splintering them off and giving them away for free.

3. Neil is going harder on volume from organic social. More longforms, more shorts, more top of funnel content not necessarily to generate more conversions, but more awareness overall.

4. NP Digital is running more ads in general. We are doing the same thing at Single Grain with a 'general awareness' funnel that keeps us top of mind and drives traffic to Single Grain and our product.

5. Neil started a podcast with CMOs (something I did in the beginning with the Leveling Up pod).

6. Neil is using Eleven Labs to translate his content into other languages for more internationalization.

7. For every company that does a demo with Karrot, a double-digit percentage of those prospects agree to do a call with the Single Grain marketing team.

8. We're both getting more involved with our internal marketing. No more sitting around expecting people to just 'figure it out'. I have bad memory, so I made an Asana board to continually check in with stakeholders.

9. We're both majorly cutting back on speaking at in-person events. I usually travel 1/3 of the year. Neil was over 50% last year! We'll still speak at larger conferences, but we've found that the more we stay home, the faster our businesses grow.
