๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ From the buzzing newsrooms of Mumbai to the heart of Australia โ€” chasing stories, growth, and purpose.

A few years ago, I decided to leave behind a stable and promising media career in Mumbai. It wasn't an easy choice, but it was a conscious one. I came to Australia to challenge myself โ€” to grow as a journalist, to explore new ways of storytelling, and to find my place in a sport-loving country that lives and breathes the stories I've always wanted to tell.

Now that I have completed my Master of Journalism at Monash University, I'm actively seeking opportunities in journalism, media production, and social media content creation.

Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of working with some of the most respected names in media, both in India and Australia. I've written, produced, edited, and reported across platforms, from live TV to satirical news, cricket grounds to community footy clubs.

๐Ÿ“ฐ Experience includes:
1. Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) News Breakfast โ€“ Internship (filmed, edited, pitched stories; supported live production)
2. Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia News โ€“ Digital Intern (wrote and edited social-first stories, tracked breaking news)
3. News Corp Australia / Geelong Advertiser โ€“ Cricket writer (covered Victorian Premier Cricket and reported for digital and print)
4. The Struggle (Channel 31) โ€“ Writer & Correspondent (produced satirical video content)
5. Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) โ€“ Sports reporting intern (grassroots football coverage)
6. AFL - Australian Football League Desi โ€“ Social media content creator (interviews, articles, campaigns) - (Thanks to Ed Bowman
, Michael Rogers
and Beth Wallis for all the opportunities and believing in me)
7. Times Network & Viacom18 Media Private Limited Sports (India) โ€“ Journalist & Producer (produced IPL pre-match shows, bilingual sports scripts, and live rundown production)

๐ŸŽฏ What I bring:

1. Versatility across sports, news, and digital storytelling
2. Strong video production and editing skills (Adobe suite)
3. Content creation
4. Experience working across broadcast, digital, and social
5. A deep respect for regional stories and diverse communities

This has been a journey filled with learning, risk, and persistence. And now I'm ready for the next chapter โ€” to join a newsroom, production team or digital platform where I can make an impact, keep learning, and tell the stories that matter. If you're looking for someone with grit, initiative, and Experience across both the Indian and Australian media landscapes, I'd love to connect.
