Cloudflare and Google have partnered to release first-party domain mapping for Google Tag, and itβs now part of *any* Cloudflare plan.
You can use this to mask Google Tag URLs with a first-party domain, mapped to Cloudflare, and the proxy will then redirect them to Google in the backend.
Itβs a handy way to move Google Tag loads and requests to first-party.
Just note that if you want more control and flexibility, such as the ability to add other destinations like CAPI, TikTok, or BigQuery, youβll need something more elaborate such as server-side Google Tag Manager.
