Extremely disappointing behavior by Peas in Pod India
I enrolled my 3-year-old daughter in Peas in Pod Day Care, Noida Extension, and paid the full fee of ₹12,000, which included meals. However, yesterday evening I received a call from a staff member informing me that my daughter was hungry and had not brought anything in her lunch box.
When I followed up, I was told that meals are only provided to children whose meal payment is recorded. This was surprising, as I had already completed the payment. It raises serious concerns about internal coordination and communication within the team.
Even more concerning is the fact that, regardless of any confusion, how can a daycare leave a 3-year-old child without food for the entire day? This is not just a service lapse—it is a matter of basic responsibility and care.
When I escalated the issue to the Branch Head, Mrs. Prachi, the response was casual, stating that the meal had been arranged from her end and she was unaware of the situation. Such a response does little to address the seriousness of the concern.
Situations like these reflect gaps not just in operations but also in accountability. For a well-known institution, this level of oversight is highly concerning.
Also, when I called the number listed on your website (+91 9319127511), the person who answered disconnected the call immediately without even listening and casually said, “itne baccho mein koi reh gaya hoga” This is not just unprofessional—it is completely unacceptable.
Shilpy Dubey @AnkurKumar, what exactly is going on here? Is this your idea of professionalism? Is this how you define childcare? Who is accountable for such negligence?
Parents like me choose Peas in Pod trusting that our children will be cared for better than at local centers. But if a 3-year-old can be left hungry and this is brushed off so casually, that trust is clearly misplaced.
