Emergent.sh – A Game-Changer in AI-Driven Development
Have you heard of https://emergent.sh/?the world’s first agentic workspace for developers, founded by Mukund Jha
Backed by Y Combinator, it’s competing with tools like Bolt, Lovable & Cursor. As a fan of innovative dev tools, I couldn’t wait to try it and I’m impressed. I even built something exciting with it!

What is Emergent.sh?
Emergent Labs (YC S24) is an AI-driven platform that simplifies software development. Its "Agentic workspace" uses AI agents to handle coding, testing, deployment, and more, letting you focus on creativity. It’s not just about speed, it’s about building smarter.

I tested Emergent.sh by building Real-Time Deal Finder web app.
For me the process was incredible. This app scans local businesses for deals, powered by the Firecrawl API. Emergent’s AI agents set up the backend with FastAPI, integrated MongoDB for data storage, and handled the API connections all in record time. And I didnt do anything. As a non-coder, I described my idea, and it did the rest, asking smart questions along the way. The result? A sleek, functional app (video below). Still not ready, will update soon once it is ready to use.

Room for Improvement
As a new platform, Emergent.sh has some improvements required. But these are fixable, and I’m confident Mukund Jha
& team will improve Emergent to the best workspace for developers.

Conclusion
Emergent.sh is redefining AI-driven development, standing out against Bolt, Lovable, and Cursor. It empowers anyone to build fast and easy.
