Do Reddit Ads work for B2B SaaS companies?

The short answer is: Yes, they can.

Like anything, there are a ton of different factors to consider and I won't go into all of them here (your target audience and TAM, your offer, your acquisition model, the amount of traffic to your website, etc etc).

But there are a few DOs and DON'Ts that apply to nearly all B2B companies running ads on Reddit.

โŒ DON'T
- Use interest or keyword targeting in your Reddit Ads audience.

โœ… DO
- Keep your targeting specific by using sub communities and custom audience lists OR strictly run remarketing ads to audiences who showed relevant interest (pricing page visits, gave email/signed up, multiple page visits).

โŒ DON'T
- Try to convert on high-commitment actions like booking a call or scheduling a demo on your first interaction with a new audience.

โœ… DO
- Generate awareness, educate, and consider offering useful content of some type to show why you're relevant to your audience first to provide value up front.

โŒ DON'T
- Run Reddit ads in a silo with minimal alternative traffic sources coming to your website.

โœ… DO
- Have other channels like Paid Search running to capture high-intent search traffic that you can remarket to on Linkedin Ads to generate highly-targeted website visits. The more traffic you have from organic sources as well, the better all your ads will perform.

This is just the tip of the iceberg but I frequently see these mistakes and they almost always derail your Reddit Ad campaigns from the start if you're targeting B2B audience.
